What does Ozonation mean?

Ozonation is one of the most effective methods of disinfection. Ozone treatment is use to remove odors, bacteria, and viruses. As a gas, it can reach inside vents, far under seats and saturate upholstery fibers. The triatomic oxygen molecule, tends to sterilises everything that is in contact with.

How does Ozonation work?

Your detailer will place an ozone generator in your vehicle for a designated amount of time. Bacteria and viruses are destroyed when ozone comes into contact with the cell wall and breaks it down on a molecular level, effectively destroying the cell entirely. The car needs to be cleaned before this procedure. No one should be in the car during this process. No animals should be in the car during this process.

When should I get an ozone treatment?

Ozone is a broad-spectrum treatment that works on many levels. People with pets have used ozone to eliminate the normal pet odors in their car. Ozone will also get rid of tobacco smoke, mold and mildew odor through oxidization.
